Applications Being Accepted for Grants to Community Partners
Community partners are encouraged to apply for grant funding with the Town of Renfrew. The application deadline for the Grants to Community Partners is March 31st, 2024. Community partners can apply for a grant of up to $5,000. To qualify for a grant, applicants must be a not-for-profit organization operating in the Town of Renfrew, outline how their organization meets a need in the community, provide financial statements and annual project budgets, and demonstrate financial need for funding. Community partner grants can be provided in the following categories:
- Fee Waiver/Facility Use
- One Time Capital Projects
- Organization Support/Operating Grant
- Programming/Special Event
- Sponsorship
Director of Library and Community Services Kelly Thompson says, “We are currently accepting grants to further empower our community partners in their initiatives. The Town of Renfrew is committed to enriching the lives of residents and visitors through cultural and recreational programs and services.”
Applicants will be evaluated for approval by a review team comprised of the Mayor, members of Council, the CAO, Treasurer, and Director of Library and Community Services. The 2024 Community Partners Grant Application is available on the Town of Renfrew website.
