Crossing Guard

Under the supervision of the Director of Fire, Emergency & Protective Services/Fire Chief, the Crossing Guard  has an important role in assisting pedestrians travelling to and from school when crossing at various intersections in the Town of Renfrew. This position will be assigned to the Veterans’ Memorial Blvd crossing for Queen Elizabeth school. The hours are 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 3:15-4:15 p.m. (two hours per day). Crossing Guards are expected  to work the duration of the school year. The anticipated start date is January 27th, 2025.  The rate of pay for this position is $18.00 per hour (2024 Rate).
