Staff and Tenants at Renfrew Town Hall Prepare for Move to Modernized Space

The renovations at Renfrew Town Hall, 127 Raglan Street South, are nearing completion and staff will be moved around over the coming weeks.
The treasury department will begin moving office items across the hall on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, as tenants prepare to move into the Ottawa Valley Business Hive in the former police detachment space inside of Town Hall. No disruption in service is expected.
“We ask anyone attending Town Hall to be patient as staff begin to move items into the newly renovated spaces,” says Treasurer Erin Broome.
Residents looking to pay bills or seeking general information will turn to the right when they come into the main entrance at Renfrew Town Hall. Alternatively, you can call 613-432-4848 or email treasury@renfrew.ca.
The Development, Engineering and Environment department will relocate from the Renfrew Recreation Centre at 67 Argyle Street South back to Town Hall the week of November 6th, 2023, and will be by appointment only as staff get their new office spaces and phones set up.
Tenants will begin moving into the Ottawa Valley Business Hive as early as Monday, November 6th, 2023. The Ottawa Valley Business Hive will be home to the Downtown Renfrew Business Improvement Area, the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce, Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation, Enterprise Renfrew County and Economic Development staff from the Town of Renfrew.
Throughout November, construction will be focused on the second floor at Renfrew Town Hall. Committee meetings held during the day when construction is underway will be held virtually. Council meetings at night will be in person. All meetings will be broadcast on the Town of Renfrew YouTube channel.
