The Town of Renfrew Welcomes Robert Tremblay as the New CAO

Town of Renfrew hires Chief Administrative Officer
Renfrew, ON: The Town of Renfrew is pleased to announce the recruitment of Robert Tremblay who will assume the responsibilities of Chief Administrative Officer on June 27, 2022. Robert, originally from Navan in East Ottawa, joins the town with 21 years of municipal experience, including with the City of Ottawa and most recently as CAO in Whitewater Region since December 2016.
Robert completed a Master of Public Administration in local Government and a diploma in municipal administration, and is a Certified Municipal Officer and Accredited Ontario Municipal Clerk. He recently moved to the Town of Renfrew to take advantage of all the amenities and enjoys camping and curling. He is looking forward to meeting the team and working together.
Robert has demonstrated effective and dynamic leadership skills in his previous position and Renfrew Town Council are confident in his abilities as he takes on this new role and leads the municipality forward.
