On September 30th, we honor National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It's a time to reflect on the history and legacy of residential schools, recognize the strength of Indigenous survivors, and commit to building a future based on understanding, respect, and healing.
Please join us from 10:30 am-12:00 pm on Monday, September 30th at Ma-te-Way Park for Indigenous teachings, drumming and singing with Bonnechere Inodewiziwin Abinodjinish Kikinamagan (BIAK).
The Renfrew Public Library will be onsite and available to showcase their Indigenous resources from 9:30 am-12:30 pm.
Let’s walk together on this journey of reconciliation by learning, listening, and supporting Indigenous voices. Every step forward matters.
