Celebrate Canada Day in Renfrew on July 1, 2022
9:00am-1:00pm at Ma-te-Way Park
Most activities are indoors so we you don’t have to worry about heat, rain or wind! Want to stay outside? Weather permitting, there will be a couple of inflatable games outdoors, the splash pad will be open and the Renfrew Fire Fighters will be onsite with the firetruck.
Start your day off with FREE breakfast foods and snacks at 9:00am and enjoy live music by Aerik Watson and Kelly Pecoskie or play on the bouncy castle and inflatable games. Challenge someone to remote control car race or a game in our giant games area or participate in one of the challenges to win prizes. If you’re coming to the event a little later in the morning, you may arrive in time for the birthday party, complete with cake and ice cream!
The NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum located in the lobby will be open.
The fireworks show will be held at dusk at Haramis Park, the area around the Renfrew Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Mask Road and O’Brien Road.
The Town of Renfrew would like to acknowledge financial support from the Government of Canada, Lepine and Ontario Power Generation.
