Renfrew Curbside Recycling Collection Temporarily Restored

ATTENTION RESIDENTS:

In an effort to restore Renfrew curbside recycling collection, Public Works Crews will be out next week (July 9 - 11) collecting curbside material. We kindly ask all residents to place their blue boxes curbside PRIOR to 7am on their regular designated day, as pickup times may be different than usual. All material is to be sorted between Fibre and Comingled, and we ask that it be contamination free. For more information regarding acceptable recycle material, please visit our website at http://www.renfrew.ca/garbage-recycling.cfm.

Keeping recyclable material out of the landfill has been a high priority for the Town, and we are grateful to all residents for their patience, understanding and commitment to the recycling program.  A special Council meeting has been called for Tuesday July 9th to award an interim solution that will restore service to the Town until a longer term solution can be found.

Thank you,

The Waste Management Committee, and the Development and Works Team
