Renfrew Victoria Hospital

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) has a staff of 450-plus, state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of specialty clinics. RVH is continuing to expand with renovations to the second floor and the construction of a brand new Regional Nephrology Centre. Special in-patient services include an emergency department, diagnostic imaging, chemotherapy and peritoneal dialysis, oncology; sleep laboratory, a special care unit and palliative care.

Hospice Renfrew

Hospice Renfrew offers palliative care with six beds for those confronting a terminal illness. With a friendly, caring staff comprised of volunteers, the facility is free of charge and provides around the clock care and support for residents of Renfrew.

RCVTAC

The Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (RCVTAC) offers non-emergency medical services to patients who do not have a family physician or for those who are unable to access their family doctor. If you have a health concern, call your family physician first. If you do not have a family physician or nurse practitioner or cannot access your regular primary care provider call VTAC at 1-844-727-6404 for support from medical receptionists, family physicians and community paramedics, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Renfrew County and District Health Unit

Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is one of 34 Public Health Units in the province of Ontario, Canada. The Health Unit’s main office is located in the City of Pembroke, with a branch office in the Town of Renfrew. The RCDHU Renfrew Service Hub is located at 120 Plaunt Street South in the Town of Renfrew. The Service Hub will be used to offer clinics, by appointment only.
