Office of the CAO and Town Clerk

The Office of the CAO and Town Clerk is responsible for recording and maintaining records of all resolutions, decisions, by-laws and other proceedings of Council and Committees and overseeing a broad range of responsibilities related to the function of the Town of Renfrew including licensing, registrations and the general administration of the Town.

Library, Community & Recreation Services

The Library, Community & Recreation Services department is responsible for cultural and recreation programming in the Town of Renfrew. The department oversees community programs, outreach, partnerships, events, diversity, equity and inclusion, the myFM Centre Recreation Complex, Ma-te-Way Park, public skating, facility booking, sports fields, museums, community gardens and the Renfrew Public Library (governed by its Board).

Development, Environment & Infrastructure

The department of Development, Environment & Infrastructure is responsible for maintaining the Town of Renfrew's extensive road network, all planning and building related inquires and maintenance of Town owned land and facilities. Department responsibilities include winter and summer maintenance, roads, public works, stormwater management, sidewalks and active transportation, trails and multi-use pathways, streetscaping, trees, stormwater management, planning and building code, environmental services, water and wastewater, waste management and landfill, energy, engineering services and capital projects.

Finance & Client Services

The Finance & Client Services Department is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Corporation of the Town of Renfrew and oversees all aspects of customer service. Department responsibilities include municipal taxation and billing, development charges, procurement, fees and charges, Service Renfrew including customer service, municipal budget, financial management, reserves, debt and investments.

Fire, Emergency & Protective Services

The department of Fire, Emergency & Protective Services is responsible for fire services, emergency management, by-law services, policing, licensing, crossing guards and community safety.
