Wednesday, September 11, 2019 9:45am - 10:00am
Location: Renfrew Fire Hall
Time can pass and memories can fade however there are events in our lives that have left a lasting impression and changed the world as we knew it. The devastating events and images of commercial aircraft being intentionally flown into landmarks in New York City and Washington are such events. The tragedy of September 11, 2001 will be forever etched in our memories and we must not allow ourselves to forget the Firefighters, Paramedics, Police Officers and Civilians who died in the attacks.
Renfrew Fire Department will be honoring the victims of the September 11, 2001 tragedy.
At 9:55 a.m. all available fire apparatus and personnel will assemble in front of the fire halls. We will lower the Flag and prepare for our observance of a minute of silence at 9:59 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. the Flag will be raised to full staff, vehicles will be returned to their bays in the Hall and Renfrew Fire Department will resume regular operational activities.
We invite all those who wish to join us at the Renfrew Fire Hall as we observe a minute of silence on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 9:59 a.m. (Time of South Tower Collapse).Contact: Kevin Welsh
